Statement of Faith

The Holy Bible
We believe the Holy Bible is God-breathed through men, moved by the Holy Spirit and is powerful, living, and active; incorruptible, irrefutable, and eternally indestructible (2 Timothy 3:16, 17; 2 Peter 1:21; Hebrews 4:12; Psalm 119:89; Isaiah 40:8).

The Eternal Godhead
We believe God is Triune; One God, but three completely equal persons with different personalities and roles: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  The Three are coexistent, coeternal, and equal in divine perfection (2 Corinthians 13:14; John 1:1-3; 1 John 5:7; Matthew 28:19).

The Fall of Man
We believe that man, created in the image of God, by voluntary disobedience fell from perfection into sin and iniquity, handing down sin's nature and consequences to all mankind  (Romans 5:12; Genesis 1:27).

God's Plan of Salvation
We believe that while we were still sinners Christ died for us, voluntarily giving His life by shedding His own blood, He became the payment for the sins of all who believe in Him (John 3:16; Romans 5:8).

Salvation Through Grace
We believe that mankind has no righteousness or merit that can contribute to receiving God's love, favor, or forgiveness, and must come to God in complete dependence on the righteousness of Christ (Ephesians 2:8).

Repentance and Acceptance
We believe that upon sincere repentance and a whole-hearted acceptance of Christ by faith, we are justified before God and our faith in Jesus' death in exchange for our payment of sin is credited to us as righteousness (I John 1:9; Romans 10:6-10; Galatians 3:6-9).

A New Creation
We believe that true faith in Jesus Christ and His death and resurrection brings about a complete spiritual change of the inner man, becoming a new creation, and willing to live for Christ and letting Christ live through him (2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20).

Daily Christian Living
We believe that it is the will of God that we be sanctified daily, growing in faith, power, prayer, love, unity in the body of Christ, and acts of service and good works prepared in advance by God for every true follower of Christ (Hebrews 6:1; Ephesians 4:12-16; Ephesians 2:9).

Baptism
We believe that baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is an outward sign of obedience to an inward work of God to publicly testify of Him as Lord and King for every true disciple (learner, follower) of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4).

The Lord’s Supper
We believe in regularly partaking in the Lord's Supper by receiving the broken bread and juice of the vine as a symbol and celebration of receiving the free gift of salvation bought by Christ's death on the cross through His broken body and shed blood (I Corinthians 11:24-26).

Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is given by God to empower believers to be witnesses and to accomplish the works of God; and that His incoming is after the same manner as in the days of the early church (Acts 1:5,8; 2:4; 4:31-33).

The Spirit-Filled Life and Fruit of the Spirit
We believe that it is the will of God that all believers walk in the Spirit daily with evidence by the Fruit of the Spirit and God's wisdom (Ephesians 4:30-32; Galatians 5:16-25; James 3:17-18).

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit has ministry gifts to bestow upon every Christian that are powerful to build up the whole the Body of Christ and further the Kingdom of God upon the earth (I Corinthians 12:1-11)

Moderation
We believe that the experience and daily walk of believers should never lead them into extremes of fanaticism, but that their lives are a living testimony as ambassadors of Christ in righteousness, humility, and self-sacrifice (Philippians 4:5; Colossians 3:12-13).

Divine Healing
We believe that divine healing is the power of Christ to heal the physically sick in answer to the prayer of faith as He is still willing and able to heal the body, soul, and spirit (James 5:14-16; Mark 16:17-18).

The Second Coming of Christ
We believe that the second coming of Christ is personal, certain, and imminent; that no man knows the day or hour of His return, and that the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven, the dead in Christ will rise, and the redeemed will be caught up to meet Him in the air (I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Matthew 24:36-44).

Church Relationship
We believe it is our sacred duty to identify ourselves with the visible Body of Christ through a fellowship of believers with whom we corporately worship God and pray, observe the ordinances of Christ, exhort and support one another, and work together to advance the Kingdom of God (Acts 16:5; Hebrews 10:24-25).

Civil Government
We believe that civil government is divinely appointed by God and that civil laws should be upheld at all times except in things opposed to the will of God (Romans 13:1-5; Acts 4:18-20).

The Final Judgment
We believe that all shall stand some day before the judgment seat of God, and there the redeemed will receive everlasting life, and the unrepentant, everlasting punishment (Revelation 20:11-12; 2 Corinthians 5:10).

Heaven
We believe that Heaven is the glorious habitation of the living God as well as the eternal home of born-again, redeemed believers in Jesus Christ (John 14:1-3; Revelation 7:15-17).

Hell
We believe that hell is the place of eternal torment, darkness, deepest sorrow, and unquenchable fire prepared for the devil and his angels, yet will become the place of eternal separation from God for all who reject Christ as Savior and Lord (Revelation 20:10-15; Matthew 13: 41-42).

Evangelism
We believe that soul winning is the most important responsibility of the Church on earth (James 5:20; Mark 16:15).

Tithes and Offerings
We believe that the method ordained of God for the support and spread of His Kingdom and ministry is by the giving of tithes and free-will offerings and will result in the release of personal blessing to all who participate in obedience to this biblical principle of God and His Spirit's promptings (Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 9:7-15; I Corinthians 16:1-2).
